1994 was the perfect year for King Crimson's return. The sale of CDs was in its heyday, there were many different radio formats in the USA and the bands that called King Crimson a musical influence, especially that of the 1972-74 line-up, were growing.
With new professional as well as more affordable and transportable recording techniques, almost everything this new King Crimson line-up has ever performed has been filmed or recorded - from the first jams to demo sessions to the final recordings in Nashville in 1997.
